At the conclusion of each grading period as noted in the school calendar, there will be an all-school award assembly. The assemblies will usually follow the Mass for that week unless otherwise noted in the school newsletter. At these assemblies, students will be recognized and acknowledged for their leadership, citizenship and academic skills. Students in the junior high grades will receive academic recognition for a G.P.A. above 3.0 (“B” Honor Roll) and above 3.5 (“A” Honor Roll). Parents of junior high students will know if their child will be receiving an award by looking at the G.P.A. on the report card. Teachers of students in kindergarten through 8th grade will strive to notify parents of impending awards with a personal phone call, personal note, or notification via the Family Envelope. |
