Suspension, the temporary prohibition of a student’s attendance at school and school-related activities, is within the jurisdiction of the Principal. Suspension may be invoked for a sufficiently serious reason and ordinarily, will be limited to a maximum of five (5) school days. Any of the reasons listed for expulsion, with mitigating circumstances, is adequate for suspension of a student.
