Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated in our school. Any person (parent or child) who believes their child is or has been the subject of harassment, should report the circumstances immediately to a teacher or the Principal. The Principal shall then inform the Pastor and School Advisory Council Chairperson. Any such report of harassment shall be promptly investigated with confidentiality being maintained to the extent possible. No child or family will suffer any intentional adverse consequences as a result of alerting the teachers and Principal to the situation.
St. John’s School realizes that substance abuse is a significant problem in our society. We strongly support preventative education, which must begin at home. The use, distribution or sale of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, various types of inhalants, or any other legally controlled substance at school functions, or at a time and place involving school, is considered a very serious offense.
