The SHARE Hour Program provides an opportunity for school parents to be involved in the day to day life of the school. It is an obligatory program, but is intended to be an invitation to everyone to become part of the parish school community and to have a greater role in their child/ren’s school life and activities. The SHARE hour year will run from May 1, 2008 to April 30, 2009. Hours will need to be completed during this time period. Families are required to contribute at least 30 hours per year for two-parent families, 15 hours per year for single-parent families, to “school related” activities. Ten of these SHARE hours must be used toward the Auction (5 hours for single-parent families). Monthly statements of hours completed will be sent home, in an effort to help you fulfill your commitment. You will be billed at a rate of $20.00 for each hour that is short of the commitment. Auction share hours are billed at a rate of $50.00 per hour.
