Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to Saint John the Baptist School!  We are inviting you to join us for an Open House.  This event will be held for all kindergarteners on Monday, August 25^th from 7:00-8:00 P.M. in the kindergarten classroom. 

This is a time that you may bring your new kindergartener to come see the room and meet us.  This will be informal.  We will have several activities set up for you and your child to do together.  You may come at any time during the above hour listed, but plan to spend approximately ½ hour here.

This meeting will be to help ease fears and meet each other.  We will have a Back to School night the first month of school in which we will go over curriculum. 

Because we want this to be a special time for your kindergartener, we do need to ask that siblings please not attend. 

Please note that the first day of school is September 2^nd with a whole school 12:15 dismissal.  In an effort to help the kindergarteners adjust to a full day of school, we will dismiss early (12:15) from September 2^nd-5^th.  We will follow normal school hours the following week.
